WEE CREATIONS CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL

October 2018 Newsletter

September was a busy month as we welcomed many new students and helped them settle in to preschool!   We now have 48 students with only 3 spots available on Friday morning.

We had a good turn out at our Annual General Meeting and were able to vote in three new Board members.  We welcome Laura Jacoub as VP, and Veronica Stein and Nikki Kuipers as General Members.

In October, we will celebrate Thanksgiving (reminder that the school is closed on Monday, Oct. 8) but not Halloween.   There will be no dress up parties or stories about scary things.

BIRTHDAYS

Mrs. Kuipers has a birthday on Oct. 5!

Wyatt turns 3 on Oct. 6!                                 Kinley turns 3 on Oct. 14!

Landon R. turns 4 on Oct. 21!             Brandon turns 3 on Oct. 28!

In place of a Fall fundraiser, we have decided to host a paint nite for our members and any friends and family members who want to join in.   The main goal is to promote connections in our preschool community.

The date is Friday, Oct. 19.     Time is from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Cost will be $35 per person       Light refreshments will be provided.

Please pay Mrs. Scheele at the preschool by cheque (made out to WCCP) or cash by Oct. 15.        This evening will take place in the WCS gym.

Maximum number of people we can host is 60.  Child care will NOT be available.

October marks the launch of the Seesaw app.    We want to be able to communicate with parents more closely and send photos of what we are doing at preschool as well.  Please check your email for instructions on how to sign up.

REMINDER   If you move, or change phone numbers during the school year, it is important to keep us informed.    If your emergency contacts have new phone numbers, we need those as well.

Wednesday, October 3 we will be hosting an information session from 11:00 – 12:00 at the preschool about Fee Subsidy.   You may be eligible for financial assistance with your preschool fees.  (you do not need to stay the entire time) Information postcards are available at the preschool.
