Reflecting on the month of April, I am amazed at how quickly it seemed to go and also the wide array of weather conditions – snow, plenty of rain, wind, and now warm sunshine!

Our Playground opening celebration was held on April 22 – it was chilly and sunny!   Look for the photos on our Facebook page.  (Photo credits to Nikki Kuipers.)

This month we are excited to tour the Ingersoll Fire Station under the leadership of Tucker’s Dad, Mr. Kuipers on Wednesday, May 3.   This trip is for all students of our preschool.

We celebrate our Moms this month too!   We appreciate all that you do and pray that you will have a blessed Mother’s Day!

Miss McGuire has started her term on staff.  She is a great help to us.  She will be working two mornings a week until June 23. (Last day of preschool)

June 1 will be our year end trip to Clovermead Adventure Farm.   More details to come.

June 3 is our 4th Annual Touch a Truck Event – this is our big fundraiser of the year and we are still in need of volunteers.  Please check the sign up sheets in the hall outside our classroom.   So far we have no one to help as Parking attendants….Are there any Dads out there who could help for an hour or two?  The day will run from 10 – 2 this year.

As the weather gets warmer, we are hoping to spend more time outside in our playground.   If you would like your child to wear sunscreen, we recommend applying it before you drop them off in the morning.   Sun hats are also recommended on high UV days.   Our playground does offer some shady places: we will do our best to monitor your child’s sun exposure and keep a balance between sun and shade.

Registrations for September are open and spots are filling up for fall classes.

Scholastic Book orders are due May 9.
