June 2017 Newsletter

As I write this June Newsletter, there are 4 weeks of school remaining.   New and returning students are signing up for classes in the fall.   Many of our current students are off to kindergarten after the summer!

We are excited about our trip to Clovermead Adventure Farm on June 1.

Then, on June 3 we will have our 4th annual Touch a Truck event.   Check out all the promotions on our Facebook page to find out more!

When the weather is nice, we have been spending extra time in our new playground.  It is such a joy to spend time out there – all the children can find many enjoyable things to do.   REMINDER – Sunscreen is the responsibility of the parent.   Sunhats are helpful too, as long as it is not too windy.

JUNE                     Logan turns 5 on June 1!                     Madison turns 4 on June 6!

JULY                       Alasdair turns 5 on July 2!   Lillian turns 4 on July 11!   Maximus turns 4 on July 12!

AUGUST              Peyton turns 4 on August 21!     Elizabeth turns 4 on August 23!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads of our preschoolers!   We appreciate all that you do for your families!

Scholastic book orders are due June 6.  Many thanks to Rachel Smith for volunteering to look after the book orders for us this year.   We were able to get a PowerClix magnet set with the points that we earned from book purchases ($120 value).

Thank you also to our Board of Directors who work behind the scenes to make sure the preschool is running properly.   They have put many hours of work into the Touch a Truck event!                     President – Suzie Steen    Vice-President – Kendra Baker    Secretary – Wendy Petch                     Fundraising Chairperson –Erin Trumper     Member at Large – AshleyAnne Banton

We are thankful for the addition of Miss Emily McGuire to our staff since mid-April.

By God’s grace, we come to the end of another preschool year!     It has been a joy and privilege to work and learn with your children!
