It looks like winter is on its way out and we are gearing up for a busy spring!
Here is a list of important dates: April 15 (rain date April 22) Grand Opening of our new playground. 10 – 11:30 a.m. This is an opportunity for children to show their families our wonderful playground! RSVP by April 7. Check our Facebook page if you are not sure on April 15 if we are going ahead with it.
April 25 – 28 Grandparents week – In conjunction with the Grandfriends event held at Woodstock Christian School on Apr. 27, we are inviting grandparents of our students to join us from 11 – 11:30 any morning that their grandchild is in attendance at preschool.
May 3 – Trip to the Ingersoll Fire Station. More details to follow.
June 1 – Trip to Clovermead Adventure Farm
June 3 – Touch A Truck event 10 – 2 Volunteers needed. The Board of Directors has decided not to run any other fundraisers this spring so we can focus our time and energy on making this an excellent day! If you have not paid the optional fundraising fee, we are expecting you to help us that day. We need food sellers, parking attendants, face painters, costume wearers, and more. Check the sign up sheets posted outside our classroom!
Next planning meeting for Touch a Truck is the evening of April 11. Talk to Mrs. Scheele if you are interested in coming out.
Mrs. Scheele has a birthday on April 7.
Eva turns three on April 21!
Lark turns four on April 27!
Registration is now open for September 2017! Registration packages are available in the door pocket of our classroom. All spots are filled on a first come – first served basis.
Scholastic book orders are due on Wed. April 12.
Good Friday, April 13 – the preschool will be closed. Have a Blessed Easter weekend!
We are excited to welcome Miss Emily McGuire as an assistant in our classroom. She is a former co-op student of ours and is just finishing up her Early Childhood Education studies. She will begin after Easter.
We will be talking about Jesus and Easter the first two weeks of April, then we will focus on Community Helpers. We thank Tucker’s Dad for allowing us to tour the fire station.
